NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR (August 10, 2017):

Hi, Readers!

So, it's taken me until eight months into the year to realize that my date on my "note from the author" still said 2016. For anyone who knows me, that isn't much of a surprise. If it's not a detail pertaining to my current work in progress or latest release, then I tend to not notice it. My husband tends to say that I'm ditzy and forgetful. It's not so much that I forget stuff, but that with all the book related stuff in my brain, there's not much room for anything else. But hey...that just means more books for you.

What do I have planned for the fall? Well, Heidi and the Alien Cop just released August 3rd with Changeling Press (it goes live tonight at midnight everywhere else). I think that may be my only release this month, but there's a Paige Warren title that's up in the air. I've turned in edits to Siren Bookstrand, but they haven't given me a definite release date yet. Tentatively, Coming Home will release August 30th. It's about a Marine who leaves behind the woman he loves, only to find out years later that she's marrying his brother...and she's been keeping a big secret from him.

In September I'm kicking off two new series under two of my pen names. Yes, Sir - Southern Submission (a light BDSM series) by Paige Warren releases September 1st with Changeling Press (other retailers will go live on September 8th). Grizzly Affair - Bureau of Paranormal Affairs (gay menage romance) by Dulce Dennison releases September 22nd with Changeling Press (other retailers will go live on September 29th).

Yes, I have a lot of pen names. When I first started writing, I was taught that different genres should have different pen names. So when I branched out beyond Scifi and Paranormal, I created new names for my different genres. Paige Warren writes contemporary romance with a bit of kink (heroines are usually in their twenties). Dulce Dennison writes gay romances with MM or MMM pairings. Charity West is my sweeter name and I write Young Adult romance and mainstream New Adult romances under that name (heat level of 1 or 2). And finally, Harley Wylde is my anything goes New Adult pen name. While I do not list the Dulce, Paige, Charity, or Harley releases under genre headings on this site, I do list their new releases on my New & Coming Soon page, in case any of those genres interest you. They have their own newsletters too, so I usually hyperlink their websites on that page when a new book is coming out.

I think that's it from me for now. I hope you've all had a fantastic summer! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for pumpkin everything! If I have to wake up at 5:30am, I want the cooler weather and fall scents to go with it.

Happy Reading!

Jessica
