It was an older work, and I have to admit, I loved my purple prose then. lol Still do a bit here and there. I love your Ashton Grove series and have purchased all 3(presently reading #2). But there is a problem with the digital conversion for the Kindle. I am not sure who does the conversion for the Kindle--Amazon or your publisher. I have already e-mailed Amazon about the problem. If it is your publisher, I hope you will pass this message along to them.
What happens is that at the end of a sentence, words are split where they shouldn't be. It is hard to describe, so I will give some examples:
"could" in the kindle version:
co (at the end of the line)
uld (at the start of the next line)
"that" in the kindle version:
t (at the end of the line)
hat(at the start of the next line)
This happens all throughout the books. I tried changing the font size without effect. So it is something in the digital conversion to the kindle format.
It is annoying, but something I am willing to put up with since I am really enjoying your series. But I sincerely hope this can be corrected in future releases of your books.

I just received book 2 of the Ashton Grove Werewolves & am so exicted to know there's another one coming out!! I'm hooked on these wonderful wolves. Wish I could find me one!! LOL Hopefully Cole and Colin will also have their books. I can't get enough & finish the books in 1 sitting. Please keep writing more for me to devour. I love your writing & thank you for having such a wonderful imagination and talent that you share with everyone! Take care of yourself & please keep feeding my book addiction!!
